Defining Formulas and Assigning Formula Results to Scores (new)
Use
You can define the formulas to be used by the system for status determination.
You can also assign flexible ranges of formula results to a status by defining upper and lower limits in the assignment function (the assignment function no longer assigns either a positive or negative increase). Experience shows that overfulfillment of a target value is not always desirable, because this can cause the score to decrease using certain formulas. You make these assignments centrally, so that you can use the corresponding assignment tables for several scorecard elements.

To upgrade SEM-CPM 3.1A to SEM-CPM 3.1B, you must run the following report:
- UMB_BSC_31A_31B (Report Documentation; Execute Report UMB_BSC_31A_31B)
- Start this report before you make any changes in scorecard design; You only need to run the report once, but running it several times does not have any negative effects.
