Local reporting with profit centers

Description

The standard setup for regulatory reporting assigns amounts in the natural G/L accounts to regulatory G/L accounts, summarizing the data by Company Code, Account number, and Business area.

To provide regulatory reporting at the state and town level the regulatory postings can now also include the Profit center.

You have to activate the local reporting functionality in the customizing of the General parameters.

To use this additional field for municipality level reporting you have to setup the jurisdictions as profit centers, assign them to the final objects for the traced costs.

You have to create a profit center ledger in FI-SL and fill it with the postings to direct accounts. More details for the ledger setup are described in the online manual in the chapter System Requirements.
