Size of drill down tables reducible by summarizing small amounts
Use
Depending on your business scenario you might have a high percentage of records in your drill down tables where only small amounts are traced from the source to the final object.
This not only makes it hard to identify the material transactions in the drill down list but also takes up considerable space in your database.
Summarization is only be done for different final objects of the same source object, natural, and regulatory account. So the only information lost is the receiver object.
However the full detail information is still available. A special report is analyzing the trace tables and simulating the drill down information for those summarized records dynamically.
It can be called from within any of the drill down reports where a summarized final object is involved but also executed as stand-alone report.
