Process Technology is no Longer Supported

Description

The process technology used in Releases 2.1/2.2 was replaced by SAP Business Workflow and is no longer supported in the current release.

Inbound processing in logistics via EDI and the IDoc interface is also affected by this replacement.

Damage caused to data by errors

As the application data is saved as IDocs in the system, it is not lost as a result of further usage of processes. They can however be saved after conversion in the standard inbox in application documents.

Effects on Customizing

You delete the process codesthat relate to the obsolete processes in IDoc Customizing. See the IMG documentation available there.
