Integration of SM Proj. with PPM Proj. and Change Request Management (new)

Use

As of Release SAP Solution Manager 7.1 FP2, the following integration function is new:

The integration of SAP Solution Manager (SM) projects and SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) projects allows you to plan and manage projects in an IT environment, using SAP Solution Manager functionality.

Effects on Existing Data

The old integration of cProjects is no longer available.

Effects on Customizing

A new Customizing node can be accessed via the following two paths in SAP Solution Manager Customizing:

  • Capabilities (Optional) -> Implementation/Upgrade -> Integration of SM Projects with PPM Projects and Change Request Management
  • Capabilities (Optional) -> Change Request Management -> Integration of SM Projects with PPM Projects and Change Request Management

The old Customizing node cProjects under the path Capabilities (Optional) -> Change Request Management was removed.
