SRM_CATALOG_2: Sustainability Information in Catalog (New)
Use
As of SAP enhancement package 2 for SAP Supplier Relationship Management 7.0 (SAP SRM 7.0), business function SRM; MDM Catalog Innovations 2 (SRM_MDM_CATALOG_2), you can view the sustainability information of items in SRM-MDM Catalog.
Suppliers upload and maintain the sustainability information - such as carbon footprint, compliance with environmental standards, and energy consumption - of items stored in the catalog, and this information is then viewable to everyone who searches for these items. The list, grid, and thumbnail views have all been enhanced to display sustainability indicators, for example an environmental certificate for a particular item.
This feature helps users to shop for more sustainable products and services.
To implement this function, activate the Customizing switch Sustainability Enhancements for Catalog (SRM_702_CATALOG_SUSTAIN_ENH) in the MDM Catalog Enhancement Administration tool.
