Approval by Document Creator (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 2 for SAP Supplier Relationship Management 7.0 (SAP SRM 7.0), document creators can approve their own documents if one of the following conditions is met:

  • The approval process has been customized accordingly.
  • The document creator has been specified as substitute.
  • The approval work item has been forwarded to the document creator.
  • The document creator has been added as an ad hoc approver.

You define the Customizing settings for this function in Customizing for SAP Supplier Relationship Management under SRM Server -→ Cross-Application Basic Settings -→ Business Workflow -→ Activate/Deactivate Approval by Document Creator.
