SRM_SELF_SERVICE_1: Additional Functions in Shopping Carts (Enhanced)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 1 for SAP Supplier Relationship Management 7.0 (SAP SRM 7.0), the following enhancements have been made to the Shopping Cart application:

• You can now create individual ship-to addresses for multiple employees and use them as alternate addresses

• You immediately receive an error or warning message when the budget for a newly created shopping cart is exceeded

Individual Ship-To Addresses

The following Customizing activities are relevant in Customizing for SAP Supplier Relationship Management under SRM Server--> Cross-Application Basic Settings --> Individual Employee Address:

• Activate/Deactivate Individual Ship-to Address in Shopping Cart

You must activate this Customizing switch if you want to be able to create individual ship-to addresses in shopping carts.

• Create Ship-To Addresses for Multiple Employees

Use this Customizing activity to create multiple ship-to addresses using a report.

To define default data to be used in the individual ship-to addresses, you can implement the Business Add-In (BAdI) in Customizing for SAP Supplier Relationship Management under Business Add-Ins --> Individual Employee Address -→ Retrieve Default Data for Individual Employee Addresses.

Budget Check

You define the Customizing settings for this function in Customizing for SAP Supplier Relationship Management under SRM Server --> Cross-Application Basic Settings --> Self-Service Procurement -→ Activate/Deactivate Budget Check for Shopping Cart.
