SRM_SERVICE_PROC_1: SRM-MDM Catalog Integration (Enhanced)
Use
As of SAP enhancement package 1 for SAP Supplier Relationship Management 7.0 (SAP SRM 7.0), you can use the SRM-MDM Catalog as the main repository for services across procurement processes, including hierarchical structures, and import predefined services and service structures into your purchasing documents. You can select complete service structures, service outlines, service lines, and single service lines as well.
You can import services into the following business objects in SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM), supplier self-services (SUS), and SAP ERP:
- Plant maintenance order (SAP ERP)
- Purchase requisition (SAP ERP)
- Purchase order (SAP ERP)
- Contract (SAP SRM)
- Confirmation (SUS)
The following restrictions apply:
- Only five outline levels are supported, including the top level item
- A limit can only be linked to the top level outline
- Only service items or free text description are supported in the hierarchical structure; no material masters are supported
