SRM_SUCO_1: Data Replication & Attachments in SUS (Enhanced)
Use
As of SAP enhancement package 1 for SAP Supplier Relationship Management 7.0 (SAP SRM 7.0), new functions are available in supplier self-services (SUS). You are now able to monitor and control the replication of changes to company data, and can download and add attachments.
Data Replication
Previously, when a supplier made changes to company data, an XML message was automatically sent to all connected systems. However, a standard workflow for accepting or rejecting the changes made to company data is not in place in all systems. In Materials Management (MM), for instance, an accounting clerk was previously not able to determine whether or not changes had been made.
To enable an administrator in the purchasing company to monitor and check all changes made by suppliers, data is now transferred only to SAP SRM systems, but no longer automatically to other back-end systems. The Business Partner Change Monitor, a new Web Dynpro application, is now available for administrators in the SUS system. In this application, the administrator can see that changes to the company data were made by the supplier and that the data still needs to be replicated to the back-end systems. The administrator can accept or reject the changes. Once they have been accepted, the data is replicated. The supplier can then also see that the synchronization between SUS and the back-end systems has taken place.
Attachments
Changes have also been made to the Company Data screen. In the newly created Documents screen area, suppliers can now view or download attachments, and also add and delete them.
