SRM_SOURCING_2: Analytics for Sourcing (Enhanced)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 2 for SAP Supplier Relationship Management 7.0 (SAP SRM 7.0), the following search and analytics models, DataSources, TransientProviders, and queries are available with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI Content add-on 6:

DataSources:

  • Sourcing Graphical Search (0BBP_TD_SOURCING_ITEMS)
  • Active Bidders (0BBP_TD_ITEMS_EV_ASL)

Note: These DataSources have been developed for the SAP SRM system. They can be used in the BI system; however, no BI objects have been developed above them.

Search and Analytics Models:

  • Sourcing Graphical Search (0SRM_SOURCING_ITM)
  • Active Bidders (0SRM_ASL)

TransientProviders:

  • Sourcing Graphical Search (2O0SRM_SOURCIN)
  • Active Bidders (2O0SRM_ASL)

Queries:

  • Sourcing Graphical Search (REP_SOUR)
  • Active Bidders (REP_ASL01)

These new BI objects support the following aspects of the sourcing process:

Sourcing Graphical Search

A new graphical search facility is now supported at step 1, Select Requisition, of the sourcing application's four-step wizard. You can use the graphical search to filter and search external requirement requisitions, based on various grouping categories, and to visualize the results in the form of a pie-chart. By graphically representing information about RFx documents in the SAP SRM system, the graphical search provides a clearer view of sourcing events that lets you shortlist requisitions quickly and easily.

Active Bidders

New analyses are now available that support your decision making processes and let you select and invite the appropriate bidder when you are creating an RFx. You can now display, compare, and evaluate bidders based on certain criteria (for example, price). By creating a prioritized list of bidders based on a specific parameter, you can tailor this list to reflect your current requirements. Bidders are displayed in the Active Bidders table and in three charts: Bidder Overall Score, Score Based on Evaluation Criteria, and Bidder Spend.
