SRM_CROSS_INDUSTRY_1: Business Funct. SRM, Cross-Industry Functions

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 2 for SAP Supplier Relationship Management 7.0 (SAP SRM 7.0), the business function SRM, Cross-Industry Functions(SRM_CROSS_INDUSTRY_1) is available. This business function contains functions that support complex procurement processes and that can be used across all industries.

You can only use this business function in conjunction with the business function SRM, Procurement for Public Sector (SRM_PUBLIC_SECTOR_1). In other words, you must activate both business functions.

Note:

The business function SAP SRM Procurement for Public Sector Basis (/SAPPSSRM/SRM_CROSS_INDUSTRIES), which is used in lower releases, has become obsolete. You can neither activate it nor deactivate it. In previous releases, most of the functions listed below were available with this business function.

Note: You can activate and deactivate this function individually in Customizing for SAP Supplier Relationship Management under SRM Server -→ Cross-Industry Functions -→ Application Settings -→ Payments -→ Payment Plans -→ Activate/Deactivate Payment Plan.

This function has been reassigned. In lower PPS releases, it is delivered with the business function SAP SRM Procurement for Public Sector Functions (/SAPPSSRM/SRM_PPS).
  • Mass Change and Novation
Note: You can activate this function individually in Customizing for SAP Supplier Relationship Management under SRM Server -→ Cross-Industry Functions -→ Application Settings -→ Period of Performance -→ Activate/Deactivate Period of Performance.
  • Purchase Order Transfer Only After Successful Replication
This function checks in the connected back-end system whether a purchase order has been replicated successfully before its output. If this is not the case, the output is canceled.

To use SRM, Cross-Industry Functions, you must activate the business function in Customizing for SAP Supplier Relationship Management under SRM Server -→ Activate Business Functions.
