,,SRM_SUCO_2: Accessibility and UI Changes for SUS (New)
Use
As of SAP enhancement package 2 for SAP Supplier Relationship Management 7.0 (SAP SRM 7.0), a new set of features is available for supplier self-services (SUS).
SUS now conforms to the latest SAP Accessibility Standard, meaning it is based on a new set of HTML tags. In this way, SUS adheres both to the traditional Accessibility Guidelines requirements (Section 508) and to the latest Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.
Adaptations have also been made to the user interface (UI), enhancing the user experience for all document types. The following changes were made:
- The Communication and Collaboration area was introduced to combine long texts and attachments into one logical UI element. The area was placed in a prominent position on the UI.
- Tables, or rather document lists, have been provided with a filter and sorting function.
- The type-ahead or autocomplete feature is in place for the search function on the start page.
For those customers who have modified their screens, controller classes, and model classes, a transition process is enabled.
