Changes to IMG Structure in Supplier Self-Services (Changed)

Use

As of Supplier Self Services (SAP SUS) 3.0, the Implementation Guide (IMG) of SAP SUS has a new structure. To adopt these changes to the project IMG, you must regenerate the project IMG.

The new structure of the SAP SUS IMG helps reduce implementation times, since it is both clearer and easier to use.

    You can use this BAdI to override changes to purchasing documents..

  • Check Purchasing Document
    You can use this BAdI to carry out your own checks for the document data after entering the user and before saving the document. You cannot change any data with the BAdI

  • Extension for Duplication Checks
    You can use this newBAdI as part of the replication and synchronization of vendor master data from several procurement systems. You can use the BAdI to activate the duplicate check and define your own rules to identify business partners.

  • Extension for Tax Number Mapping
    You can use this new BAdI to unify the different stuctures of tax numbers in SAP Enterprise Buyer and SAP Materials Managementbefore they are replicated to SAP SUS.

  • Download Documents
    You can use this new BAdI to define which file names and directories the system uses (instead of the standard file names and directories) for downloading documents. You can also define which XLST program is used for converting XML files to CSV format, as well as which form the system uses for printing documents.

  • Change SAPXML Outbound Mapping
    You can use this BAdI to override the standard mapping of internal SAP SRM structures to SAP XML outbound interfaces.

Renamed IMG Activities

The IMG activity Customizing for SUS Business Partnersis now called Make Settings for Business Partners.

The IMG activity Define URLs for Notification is now called Customer Settings.

The IMG activityDefine UM Roles is now called Maintain Roles.

Newly Assigned IMG Activities

You can now find the IMG activity Make Settings for Business Partnersunder Cross-Application Basic Settings .This activity was previously located under Application-Specific Basic Settings.

You can now find the IMG activity Customer Settings under Cross-Application Basic Settings. This activity was previously located under Application-Specific Basic Settings.

You can now find the IMG activity Specify Means of Transport under Cross-Application Basic Settings This activity was previously located under Application-Specific Basic Settings.
