Customizing Distribution (enhanced)

Use

• From Release 3.20, you can set local locks for customizing objects centrally from the SAP Solution Manager, and distribute them in the component systems, where they are independent of the availability of the Solution Manager.

• From Release 3.20, you can display the following additional information in the synchronization group editor:

• Current Settings

• Cross-client objects

• non-client-lockable objects in the target system
  You can exclude objects from the synchronization group, which you do not want to distribute or lock.

• From Release 3.10 SP12, you can base a synchronization group on a project IMG, to restrict the object selection

• From Release 3.10 SP08, you can uniquely assign source and target transports in the Customizing Synchronization, to specify and determine the path of the customizing to be synchronized.
