Authorization to display solutions (new)

Use

In SAP Solution Manager Release 4.0 and later, there is a new authorization object for displaying solutions. This authorization object, D_SOL_VSBL, is contained in the updated operations roles.

Effects on Existing Data

If you do not assign the updated roles or the new authorization object D_SOL_VSBL, no solutions will be displayed in the Solution Manager transaction (SOLUTION_MANAGER).

Modify your roles in the IMG activity Create Users for SAP Solution Manager:

1. Copy the operations roles that were shipped with SAP Solution Manager 4.0.
2. Assign these roles to your users with IMG activity Create Users for SAP Solution Manager

Or

1. Assign authorization object D_SOL_VSBL to an existing role
2. Assign this role to your users or run a user comparison.
