Creating loans via a selection tree

Description

From Release 4.5A you can access the function for creating a loan via a selection tree, in which you can select the corresponding product type for the company code.

You can specify the product category (if you have not already branched beyond the product category), the company code and the parameters for loans given and loans taken.

The system lists all the statuses for loans created in the company cope with the specified product type according to product category and the direction of the loan (loans given or loans taken). When you select the appropriate status, this takes you to the corresponding transaction for creating the loan. The product type and the company code are transferred automatically.

You must always use this path to create loans for the product category 'Basic loans given/taken' in Treasury Management (TR-TM). This applies to all product types that are assigned to the TR-TM component (for more information, refer to Customizing for the product type).

In addition, there is now a function for listing the product types and statuses for the product categories 'Mortgage loans', 'Borrower's note loans', and 'Policy loans' from within the initial screen for creating the loan. You do this via the pushbutton 'Overview of product types'. You can then select a loan from this list.
