Change to correspondence control parameters

Description

From Release 4.5A, you control correspondence on the basis of the role type, the application and an additional assets/liabilities transaction indicator.

Example

When you call up correspondence for a mortgage loan on the assets side, the system only selects documents for which there is an entry in table TZZKD for the application 'Mortgage' and the asset flag for 'Lending business'.

Installation information

In order to set the assets/liabilities transaction indicator to 'Lending business' automatically, You need to run the utility program RFVDKK02 after the 4.5A upgrade. If you do not run the program, you will have to make the Customizing settings manually.

Effects on Customizing

In the Customizing step 'Assign documents to correspondence activities and roles', you can assign letters to a combination of the following parameters:

  • Correspondence activity

  • Application

  • Role type

  • Role type of original addressee

  • Assets/liabilities transaction indicator

You need to set the new assets/liabilities transaction indicator flag. The application was available in earlier releases and should be checked.
