Changes to Conditions

Scope of Functions

There is no longer a separate transaction for changing a condition (formerly FN29). In earlier releases, only this transaction was available for changing conditions after the contract had been posted. It was also possible to assign special authorizations to the transaction.

You can now use the change function to change conditions after a contract has been posted. This is permitted if you have authorization for the new authorization object F_CHG_COND (Loans: Change Conditions after Posting). A sample authorization F_COND_C_ALL is delivered with the system. This authorization is included in F_DARL_ALL. As before, you cannot change conditions unless you have the necessary authorization. However, this does not apply to the payer/payee data and the posting data in the condition items, or to the contract data, application data and notice data in the condition header.

Effect on batch input

If you use your own batch input programs, you must adapt them to accommodate this change.
