New Scenario Maintenance

Scope of Functions

Scenarios do not contain any scenario types which reference evaluation types.

When using a scenario, exchange rates are interpreted as rates with corresponding rate types from the evaluation type used in the valuation.

Authorization checks use authorization groups, which can be assigned in the administration data within scenario maintenance.

All market data can be maintained in the scenario independently.

Effects on Existing Data

Exchange rates are changed as described above for scenarios which already exist in the system.

Previously maintained scenario types and their corresponding authorization checks are no longer taken into account.

Effects on Customizing

In as far as an authorization check is supposed to take place within scenario maintenance, authorization groups are needed.
