FIN_TRM_LR_FI_AN: Portfolio Transfer (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 3 for SAP ERP 6.0 (EA-FINSERV 603), business function TRM: Hedge Accounting, New Instruments, New Key Figures, you can use the Portfolio Transfer function in the Securities area of the Transaction Manager.

If you distinguish your positions in a valuation area with portfolios, you can use this function to transfer positions or partial positions to other portfolios.

The system uses a derived business transaction to transfer the components of the book value to the target position in the same way as the valuation class transfer and securities account transfer.

To use this function, you must first execute the IMG activity Define Update Types and Assign Usages in Customizing for the Transaction Manager by choosing General Settings -> Accounting-> Portfolio Transfer.
