TR 3.0F1: Copy Standard Customizing for Business Partner to Target Client

Description

Important: Please read the general release information first.

To copy, proceed as follows:

Copy uncritical business partner settings

Copy uncritical settings

Copy business partner settings that are critical for FI

The settings that are critical for FI relate to creating customer master data in FI. You must make sure you maintain data manually if you have a productive target client in FI.

Manual maintenance

Check whether the account groups DEBI und VVD exist and whether the screen layout matches the business partner settings.

Define account group with screen layout (customers)

Check whether the customer number range 01 is assigned to the account group DEBI and whether the customer number range VD is assigned to the account group VVD.

Assign number ranges to customer account groups

Copy

The account groups DEBI und VVD are both not defined in FI.

Is THIS precondition met? If yes: Copy settings critical for FI

Maintain number ranges

Business partner number ranges:Maintain the number ranges XD,01 (internal number assignment) and 02 (external number assignment).

Create business partner number ranges

Customer number ranges:Maintain the number ranges 01 and VD.

Create number ranges for customer accounts
