3.0F1: Generate derived flows

Description

You can use this enhancement to derive further flows from flows which have either been entered manually or generated on the basis of conditions.

To generate derived flows you need to define a derivation procedure and corresponding derivation rules in customizing under Master data --> Flow types --> Generate derived flows. These settings determine which flows will lead to the generation of derived flows.

Once you have defined a derivation procedure in this way, you can assign the procedure to a business partner in a company code at the various levels of the product hierarchy right down to the individual transaction type. You do this in the area menu for money market or foreign exchange under Master data --> Standing instructions --> Derived flows.

When you edit money market or foreign exchange transactions, the rules for deriving flows are applied if a corresponding derivation procedure has been assigned.
