3.0F1: Changes to tax generation

For Release 3.0F1 the following changes were made to the tax generation function:

The 'generate tax' function is now available in the securities application at all points where other flows can be entered.

As an additional parameter for each product type in each company code, you can determine whether tax flows are to be generated by the 'generate tax' function for securities of the product type concerned. You make the corresponding settings in customizing under
Securities -> Master data -> Product types ->
Company code-dep.data -> Maintain accounting/cash management data
in the 'Generate taxes' field.

You can compress several tax flows of the same tax flow type within an activity according to specific criteria to create one single tax flow. For further documentation on this function, please refer to the documentation on the 'Compression' field in the customizing view for tax rates and to the documentation on Define Tax Rates, which you can find in the IMG under Securities -> Functions -> Position -> Define tax rates,
Make the settings you require for compression in this view.

When taxes are generated, the "5-centime rounding" rule is taken into account. You can define the smallest unit for rounding for each company code and currency (e.g. for Swiss francs, 5 centimes). You define rounding rules in customizing via:
Global settings -> Currencies -> Define rounding rules for currencies
