Securities: New posting journal
Description
From Release 4.0A a new posting journal is available in the securities area.
It contains the following new functions:
- Extended selection options
- Direct link to FI documents
- Flexible list output via SAP list tool
including the following options:
- Definition of your own display variants which can be saved and reused
- Sort any number of fields
- Additional filtering for any values
- Creation of group totals
- Additional detail functions
Further notes
You can only make full use of the functions offered by the posting journal, if you have subsequently generated securities posting documents for all existing postings.
For more information on securities posting documents see the Release Note on the Securities posting interface.
You can only execute the following functions correctly, if securities posting documents exist for all posted flows:
- Select by fiscal year
- Select by posting period
- Select by securities posting document number
- Display FI reversal document numbers for reversed flows
