Offers for foreign exchange and fixed-term deposits

Description

You can group together and save quotations from various banks under one reference using activity category 'offer'.

This means that offers are listed in order of their quality (e.g. for foreign exchange purchases, the lowest rate is the best). The user can create a contract choosing the best offer from the list.

Transactions with activity category 'offer' have active status '4'. They are managed under their own number range.

This function is available for individual foreign exchange transactions and fixed-term deposits.

An evaluation report, which can be configured by the user, provides amongst other things, information about how many offers which bank in which product segment has made and how many contracts have been concluded as a result.

You can find the report program in the foreign exchange and money market areas under: Report selection -> Transaction -> Offers to find

Effects on Customizing

You create your own number range for transactions with activity category 'offer'. This number range is assigned to the corresponding transaction type in the field 'Number range for offers' in Customizing.
