Loans and bonds linked to limit management
Description
With Release 4.5A, limit management has been enhanced to cover loans and bonds.
In the loans area, the following limit characteristics are supported:
- Company code
- Business partner number (of main borrower)
- Limit product group
- Currency key
- Country key
- Industry key
- Rating indicator
The commitment capital is transfered as utilization.
In the securities area, the following limit characteristics are supported for the bonds position:
- Company code
- Business partner number (of the issuer)
- Limit product group
- Currency key
- Country key
- Industry key
- Rating indicator
In the money market, forex and currency option areas, all limit characteristics are supported. For Release 4.5A, the limit characteristics derived from the business partner are also included:
- Country key
- Industry key
- Rating indicator
The corresponding proportion of the transaction amounts is taken into account when the limit utilizations are calculated. This is an enhancement in the system.
Limits can be specified in a time-dependent manner in Release 4.5A. The display of limits and limit utilizations can now be viewed with the help of the SAP List Viewer. You can now also go from the limits to the utilizations.
Further notes
The limit characteristics derived from the busines partner are determined as follows:
The derived characteristic, country key, is determined by the country where the HQ (BP000-cntry_comp) is located for organizations. For natural persons, they are determined by the nationality (bp000-nation).
The derived characteristic, industry key, is determined by industry in the legal data (bp000-ind_sector) for organizations and by the industry of the current employer (bp011-emp_sector) for natural persons.
The business partner rating (bp1010-rating) is used as the rating indicator.
You can maintain the percentage rate of a relationship in the detail screen for business partner relationships.
