BAPIs for financial transactions (BUS2042)

Description

As of 4.5A, you have the option of using BAPI methods to transfer/maintain financial transactions in the R/3 System in the money market and foreign exchange areas. The BAPI methods available for the business object financial transaction (BUS2042) are:

  • CreateFromData: Create financial transactions

  • Change: Change financial transactions

  • GetDetail: Display financial transactions

  • GetList: List financial transactions

The transfer parameters for the relevant BAPIs are defined and documented in the BOR (Business Object Repository). Here, you can also find a detailed description of how to call up BAPIs from external systems.

The BAPIs form the basis of the SAP R/3 software change management and are therefore protected against future changes which may be incompatible.
