Treasury management: Transaction release

Description

The release of the TR transaction is available for the TR-TM-MM money market, TR-TM-FX foreign exchange and TR-TM-DE derivatives application components.

The TR transaction release incorporates, in the main, the following components:

  • Integration of organization management in SAP Business Workflow (organizational structure, task assignment according to responsibilities and job descriptions, dynamic task assignment for the term from the context of the workflow and the objects processed).
  • Integration of release management in SAP Business Workflow (process structure of release, consideration of release strategies that can be customized in Treasury for the term of the workflow).

The release can be activated after each Treasury transaction step and is dependent Customizing. The system supports up to three release levels and the dual control principle.

If a release is rejected, the previous processor is informed via the release point and the transaction can be changed or reversed. Another release may be necessary at a later date.

Additionally, a reporting overview is available. From here, you can tell which release was carried out, when, and by which authorized processor for each Treasury transaction. The Reporting overview is available in the money market / foreign exchange / derivatives area menu via Information system --> Release list.
