Zero Bonds

Scope of Functions

You now use the 'Position management procedure' function to determine price gains/losses and amortization for zero bonds. See also the release note Position Management Procedure (Price Gains / Amortization).

To represent the previous functions in the system, set up the position management procecure 'Net SAC' for all the old and new zero bonds.

A report program in the conversion program for securities transactions for Release 4.6A (call it up using transaction TS_CONVERT) generates the corresponding Customizing entries. See also the release note Integration of the Securities Order Function to Transaction Management.

Amortization flows are no longer indicated by the flow categories EAZB (amortization of the entire position) and EAZS (amortization of the outgoing position), but by the flow categories XMA1 (key date amortization) and XMA3 (amortization of the outgoing position).

You can now also manage zero bonds in the collective valuation function.

You must change the flow types in Customizing. To do this, see the Release note Position Management Procedure (Price Gains / Amortization).
