Data Type of Domain SZBMETH Changed

Scope of Functions

The data type of domain SZBMETH (indicator for the interest calculation method in financial mathematics) has been changed from NUMC to CHAR for technical reasons.

Effects on Existing Data

As a result of this change, the data in databases DB2 and DB4 needs to be converted. If there is a large volume of data, this can prolong the runtime of the upgrade considerably.
