Changes to Customizing in Treasury

Scope of Functions

  • Basic Functions
  • The IMG activity Define Correspondence Types is no longer under Basic Functions. You now find this step under Correspondence in the Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives and Securities areas.

  • There is now a field selection control function for the entry screens in Treasury transaction management for the Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives and Securities areas. To access the corresponding IMG activity, choose Basic Functions → Transaction Management → Define Field Selection. See also: Transaction Management: Field Selection Control for the User Interface

  • Money Market
  • The IMG activity Assign Forms is now entitled Define Correspondence Activities.

  • The IMG activity Define Report Selection has been renamed Structure Report Selection. The existing report trees have been migrated to the area menu. As a result, this Customizing step now takes you to the initial screen for area menu maintenance.

  • Foreign Exchange
  • The IMG activity Assign Forms is now entitled Define Correspondence Activities.

  • The IMG activity Define Report Selection has been renamed Structure Report Selection. The existing report trees have been migrated to the area menu. As a result, this Customizing step now takes you to the initial screen for area menu maintenance.

  • Securities
  • The Treasury transaction management functions now incorporate the Securities area. As a result, the following IMG activities for orders are no longer required:

- Define Order Number Range
- Active Indicator Release
- Define Release Status Parameters
- Define Status
- Define Status Transfers

To access the new Customizing settings for transaction management, choose Securities → Transaction and Position Management → Functions → Transaction Management.
There is also a new Customizing activity for the corresponding account determination settings under Securities → Transaction and Position Management → Functions → Accounting → General Ledger Update → Define Account Determination for Transaction Flow Types.   • The following number ranges are now created automatically and no longer need to be defined in Customizing:

- Define Number Ranges for Linking Class and Issuer
- Define Number Ranges for Securities Posting Documents
- Define Number Ranges for Daybook Numbers
- Define Number Ranges for Flow Headers
  • The IMG activity Define Security Type has been moved. This step is now under Securities → Master Data → Class Data → Basic Settings → Define Security Types.

  • The IMG activity Assign Forms is now entitled Define Correspondence Activities. The old Customizing settings must be converted. The underlying correspondence function has been adapted to offer the same features as for the Money Market, Foreign Exchange and Derivatives areas.

  • The IMG activity Assign Other Flows has been renamed Assign Flow Types to Application Subfunctions, and the step Assign Other Flows per Condition Group is now called Assign Flow Types to Application Subfunctions per Condition Group.

  • In the Information System area, the following list settings are no longer required:

- Position List
- Position Trend List
- Cross-Treasury Revenue List
  • The IMG activity Define Report Selection has been renamed Structure Report Selection. The existing report trees have been migrated to the area menu. As a result, this Customizing step now takes you to the initial screen for area menu maintenance.

  • Derivatives
  • The number range for posting documents is now created automatically by the system and no longer needs to be defined.

  • The IMG activity Assign Forms is now entitled Define Correspondence Activities.

  • The IMG activity Define Report Selection has been renamed Structure Report Selection. The existing report trees have been migrated to the area menu. As a result, this Customizing step now takes you to the initial screen for area menu maintenance.

  • Loans
  • The IMG activity Manual Posting has been changed to Business Operations. In this section, you can now make the following settings:

- Define Company Code-Specific Texts
- Default Values for Flow Types
- Define Parameters for Business Operations
  • A new IMG activity Define Name for Function Key for User Exit 14 has been added. You find it under Loans → Master Data → Basic Settings. In this step, you can assign your own name to the area in the loans entry screen which contains the fields you have defined with user exit 14. If you make an entry here and user exit 14 is set to active for the product type, the screen area appears under this name when you enter a loan.

  • The IMG activity Define Report Selection has been renamed Structure Report Selection. The existing report trees have been migrated to the area menu. As a result, this Customizing step now takes you to the initial screen for area menu maintenance.

  • Market Risk Management
  • The Customizing settings for Market Risk Management have been moved. They are now at the same level as Treasury Management.

  • The IMG activity Create Scenario Type is no longer required.

  • The IMG activity Define Report Selection has been renamed Structure Report Selection. The existing report trees have been migrated to the area menu. As a result, this Customizing step now takes you to the initial screen for area menu maintenance.
