Short text
Simplification and enhancement of Workflow definitions
Description
Improvements and enhancements to the graphical Workflow editor
Icons are used to differentiate between the various step types. A key can be activated for the different step types.
Drag-and-drop functionality can be used for creating new steps.
Context-sensitive menus (right mouse button) are available for the individual steps and display all possible operations (e.g. goto block end).
Definition of activity and user decision
The definition of activity and user decision can be entered both in standard or in professional mode. Professional mode still allows the maintenance of all settings from several subscreens, while standard mode incorporates all the important settings on one screen.
The maintenance and definition of tasks from the Workflow definition has been simplified. It is now possible, for example, to access the agent assignment maintenance for the appropriate task directly from the Workflow definition.
F4 Help for finding tasks allows searches using object types and methods.
Responsibility: All agents can be entered via a (multi-level) expression referring to the Workflow container.
Using "table controls" for the binding definition
In the editor for defining binding, "table controls" are now used.
In the first column on the left side of the binding definition, the element is displayed as standard. By configuring the system accordingly, users can once again display the (technical) element name as well.
Enhanced consistency checks for binding definitions
Checks of the binding definition recognize subsequent changes to the container definition for elements which are already used in expressions. In change mode, the changed data is automatically transferred to the binding definition during the check.
Enhanced functionality for Workflow definitions
Funktionality for printing a Workflow definition as a list with detailed information. The scope of the list can be configured by the user.
Enhancements to test options available directly from the Workflow editor. The corresponding multi-step task is "classified as a general task" and can then be started from a dialog.
Enhancements to syntax checks for Workflow definitions.
'Undo' functionality now applies to the last ten steps.
