Summarization and evaluation of workflow process data

Description

The Workflow Information System (WIS) is a component of the Logistics Information System (LIS) which can execute workflow-specific standard analyses:

• Organization view

Workload analysis which focuses on the agents of work items and their organizational assignments.

• Process view

Process analysis which focuses on the superior workflow

• Object view

Analysis which focuses on the processed object

• Group view

Analysis which focuses on certain objects from the environment of the processed work item

The data basis for all analyses returns only completed work items which are transferred into the information structures of the LIS using a periodically scheduled job. These tables include the data relevant for evaluation in summarized form. These tables provide an efficient form of evaluation without affecting production operation.

The connection to the LIS allows the WIS to benefit from the advantages of this enormous reporting system via a standard user interface, a variety of statistical evaluation functions, the graphic options and the functions for exporting to Microsoft Excel.

The data basis of the information system can be compiled and extended for customer-specific configuration of the WIS.
