Generic object services from the workflow area

Description

Ad hoc functions that can be executed on the current application object (document, item of master data, etc.) and used beneficially in connection with SAP Business Workflow, are available in every "System" menu under the menu option "Workflow".

The following functions are involved:

• Start workflow

This function starts subsequent activities in the form of workflows connected directly with the processing of the current object.

All multistep tasks that also process an object of the same type are offered on a selection screen.

• Workflow overview

This function displays all work items and workflows, in which the current object is used or processed.

• Send object with note

This function sends a SAPoffice mail of which the current object is an attachment. You write the text of this mail yourself.

The recipient can view the object directly from their mail.
