Short text

Process control for ending a workflow definition

Description

Two control commands are available for the process control of a workflow, which affect the relevant current workflow as a whole:

  • Terminate workflow
The workflow system terminates the current workflow at runtime. If this workflow was part of a superordinate workflow as a subworkflow, the system continues the superordinate workflow.
  • Cancel workflow
The workflow system changes the status of the current workflow at runtime into "logically deleted". If this workflow was part of a superordinate workflow as a subworkflow, the system does not continue the superordinate workflow.
