IDoc inbound processing using the file interface

Description

In order to separate the reading of IDocs from the file and the posting of IDocs in the R/3 System from on one side the processing, and on the other regarding time in IDoc inbound processing, both processing steps are performed separately using workflows. This now corresponds with the standard setting of IDoc inbound processing. The type of processing can be set in the IDoc administration.

Effects on System Administration

By choosing Control->IDoc Administration in the IDoc basis menu, you can control the mode in which the IDoc inbound processing runs with the parameter 'INBOUND'. You can set synchronous processing by entering the value 'SYNC' in the parameter. If you entered a different value or no value at all, the asynchronous standard setting is activated.

Effects on Customizing

The event receiver linkage for the event 'IDOC.ProcessStateReached' and the receiver TS30200090 (standard task) is activated in Upgrade Customizing.
