EDI: Output of the structure of IDoc types: RSEIDOC3

Description

The report RSEIDOC3 outputs the syntax of IDoc types in a clear format, that can be processed automatically. The output generated can be read and interpreted as a data structure definition by an external converter.

You can output the structure of IDoc types. In this case, field names, field description, field type and length of the three records is outputted, from which IDoc types exist:

• Control record

• Data record

• Status record

Additionally, the segments and fields of the IDoc type required are outputted. You can also write this syntax description in a file - enter the path and name.

Display documentation for report

To execute the report, choose Tools -> Administration -> Administration -> Process Technology -> EDI -> List -> IDoc Type Syntax.

The report documentation is displayed by choosing Help -> Extended Help.
