Changes to the IMG Structure for SAP xRPM 4.0 SP4

Use

As of SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) 4.0 SP4, the structure of the Implementation Guide (IMG) has changed. To adopt these changes, you must generate the project IMGs again.

New IMG Activities

  • SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) -> SAP xRPM Preconfiguration in Client 000.
  • SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) -> Global Customizing -> Portfolio-Independent Settings -> Define Financial and Capacity View for Front-End Configuration
  • SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) -> Global Customizing -> Portfolio-Independent Settings -> Maintain Objects for Substitution
  • SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) -> Global Customizing -> Portfolio-Independent Settings -> Maintain Objects for Substitution -> Define Scenario Types for What-If
  • SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) -> Global Customizing -> Portfolio-Dependent Settings →Define Financial Capacity Settings for Portfolio Types
  • SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) -> Utilities -> Transfer Data to SAP xRPM ->
  • Configure Data Transfer Tool

  • Perform Data Transfer

  • SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) -> Global Customizing -> Portfolio-Independent Settings -> Mapping Item Type to cProject Templates
