Subcontracting: Enhancement of Serial Number Management

Scope of Functions

Serial number management has been enhanced as follows:

• Manual/automatic assignment of serial numbers to purchase order items of type subcontracting.

• Manual/automatic assignment of serial numbers to "material to be provided" items from purchase order items of type subcontracting.

• Assignment of serial numbers in goods movements and deliveries referencing purchase orders.

You can only use purchase order transaction ME21 to create purchase orders here.
