Diagnosis

The recommended field 'AUFNR' is missing in the sort rule.

System Response

The field 'AUFNR' should be in your sort rule, otherwise the sales orders might be splitted.

If a sales order is splitted, it can be that it will not be allocated, depending on the ARun configuration, even if stock is available. Example: Sorting 1 correct sequence

Sorting in the following sequence:
1. Header
2. Line
3. Schedule line

Order 4711 MRP status
Schedule line 1 R (= Reserved)
Schedule line 2 R
Schedule line 3 R
Schedule line 4 R
Schedule line 5 R => order 4711 is not allocated

Stock

At the end of the allocation run a release check is carried out at order level. In this case, order 4711 is not allocated at all, because there was not enough stock allocated to this order (the release rule was not fulfilled). The stock that was allocated to block 1 of order 4711 is set back to unrestricted-use stock.

Even if this unrestricted-use stock would be enough to fulfill order 4713, allocation is no longer possible because the ARun is already carried out completely.

Procedure

Add the field 'AUFNR' to your sort rule in the ARun Customizing.
