/AIF/ENGINE_IDOC004 - No message type/basic type defined for interface &1/&2/&3 - /AIF/ENGINE_IDOC 004

Diagnosis

An interface is defined as an IDoc interface that is processed without the SAP Application Interface Framework or the enabler for IDocs. A basic type and message was not defined for this interface.

System Response

No data messages can be selected, since it cannot determine which IDocs should be selected.

Procedure for System Administration

Maintain the combination of IDoc basic type and message type that should be monitored with this interface. Optionally, maintain an extension, message variant and/or message function in Customizing for the SAP Application Interface Framework, under Additional Interface Properties -> Assign IDoc Types.

If the interface should not be an interface that is processed without the SAP Application Interface Framework, the engines maintained for this interface might have to be changed. To change the engines, go to Customizing for the SAP Application Interface Framework, under Additional Interface Properties -> Specify Interface Engines.
