Key users who are authorized to maintain business configuration in your system can maintain the necessary settings by following these steps:

1. In the Manage Your Solution app, filter configuration steps for the Professional Services application area.
2. Choose the configuration item Customer and Internal Project Management and select the Define Role Types configuration step.
3. Create the necessary role types and then assign them to the project profiles Customer Project and Internal Project as necessary.
4. Save your entries.

Note: You must ensure that a partner function is assigned to all role types assigned to the project profiles for customer projects and internal projects.
