Diagnosis

To generate a DataSource or an InfoCube, various pieces of information are required from the components participating in the data transfer.

• For generation of the DataSource, the structure name for the read interface has to be provided by the journal (as data source).

• For generation of the DataSource, details about how the data is to be displayed in the InfoCube have to be defined by the receiving view.

• For generation of the InfoCube, details of the characteristics and key figures required have to be provided by the using view.

With the menu function, you have requested this information from one of the two components.
