Diagnosis

You want to create an additional custom extension field. However, there are already too many extension fields in the system. Due to technical limitations, no more field can be created.

System Response

The action terminates.

Procedure

Check with your system administrator if there is a possibility to delete no longer needed extension fields. Once some fields are freed, new extension fields can be created again.

There is also the possibility to define a shorter namespace for extensibility fields. Note that the namespace will prefix all generated InfoObjects, which will reduce the number of possible objects that can be created within the given maximum name length (for InfoObjects in customer namespace, the maximum name length is 9).
