This IMG setting is used to declare, define and generate the Customer Service Area (CSA) tables. CSA tables are used during order creation to determine the customer sales areas for an allocation group. You can generate multiple CSA tables, but only one can be the default CSA table.

The fields in the CSA table control how allocation groups are assigned to the CSA. Each order created is checked against the fields in the default CSA table.

  • If the combination of key fields in the order match a combination in the CSA table, the order is assigned to the CSA.
  • If no matching entry exists, the system creates a new entry in the CSA table for this combination of key fields.
  1. Create a CSA table.
  2. Selecting the table and choose Field Level.
  3. Specify the fields that will determine the CSA numbers.
  4. Go to display mode and generate the table at the top node. Make sure that the table name starts with 'Z'.

Assume you have created a table for the fields VBAK and KUNNR

The following fields will be generated for the CSA table:

MANDT,,,,,, Client

KUNNR,,,,,, Sold-to Party

/AFS/CSA_NUMBER Current ARun Customer Service Area

/AFS/CSA_ORGINAL Original ARun Customer Service Area

Based on these criteria, the system generates a unique CSA number for each unique combination of the key fields.
