In this step you maintain the mapping for substitution rule determination. This can be done in two ways:

• Default determination table maintenance

This is a simple one-to-one mapping of substitution strategies and substitution rules. You enter the substitution strategy and the corresponding substitution rule that the system is to apply when this grouping strategy is used

• Generated determination table maintenance

This is a more customizable mapping where the substitution determination tables are used to determine the substitution rules. You can create these determination fields and enter the values in the appropriate table in Customizing for Determination Table Generation.
