/AFS/SIMGCOPA_1 - Define AFS Characteristics

In this section you define the AFS characteristics you want to use in the profitability analysis. The following characteristics are useful for AFS:

• Dimension (table of origin: /AFS/COPA)

• Category (table of origin: /AFS/COPA)

• Season/order item level (table of origin: VBAP)

• Season/item schedule line level (table of origin: /AFS/COPA)

• Valuation type (table of origin: VBAP)

• AFS material master data, e.g. gender (table of origin: MARA)

Please note that you must use the characteristic "valuation type"

• if your AFS materials are separately valuated/costed in the inventory management and

• if these materials should also be split-valuated in the profitability analysis.

The characteristics defined here are valid client-wide. You must assign them to the respective operating concern.

The AFS characteristics are not defined in the SAP standard system.

Define the AFS characteristics you want to plan/evaluate in the profitability analysis.

Please note that the defined CO-PA fields must begin with "WW".
