The AFS source allocation enables you to map import restrictions between certain countries using the fixed criteria "AFS quotas" and "political restrictions". If you use this option, you can combine countries with similar import conditions to form country groups in this IMG activity.

If you want AFS quotas and political restrictions to be considered during the optimal vendor selection, activate these fixed criteria in the IMG activity Define Source Allocation Control.

  1. First define country groups and assign the corresponding short descriptions (such as EU: European Union; NAFTA: North American Free Trade Agreement).
  2. Assign the individual countries to the country groups you have defined.
