/AFS/SIMGMM_SAVNDCAP - Vendor Capacity

In the vendor capacity planning you define the vendor capacity. This is the sum of the total capacity and the overload capacity, which is the capacity you assign to your vendor based on periods or the capacity your vendor provides. The vendor capacity can be mapped hierarchically with a maximum of 99 levels for each vendor-material-combination.

Before you create vendor-related capacity hierarchies in the application system, define the various capacity levels and nodes of your hierarchically organized capacity planning by using this IMG activity.

1. Define the capacity structure for the relevant hierarchy levels (for instance, plant, material group, model, and material).
2. Specify the values for the individual capacity nodes (for example, Plant 01, Plant 02, Model W1, Model W2, Model W3, Model W4, Material MATJ01, and so on). A capacity structure can contain as many nodes as you wish, which exactly determine the content of the capacity levels.
3. Assign the capacity nodes you have defined to the corresponding capacity levels.
